The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that an inspection is scheduled for next week on the Route 372 (Norman Wood) bridge spanning the Susquehanna River and Norfolk Southern Railroad tracks between York and Lancaster counties.
Lane restrictions will be in place during daylight hours, a press release said.
Weather permitting, the bridge will be inspected from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, to Friday, Sept. 19. Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers providing traffic control.
Inspectors plan to inspect the bridge using an inspection crane from the roadway.
