A Southfield man accused of throwing a liquid on two women in a grocery store has been charged with criminal sexual conduct, police said.

Deon Otis Grant, 20, was arraigned Wednesday in 47th District Court in Farmington Hills and charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct, officials with the city's police department said.

A judge set his bond at $10,000 and scheduled his next court hearing for next Friday, according to court records.

If convicted, Grant faces up to two years in jail for each count. Fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct is a misdemeanor.
