CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The jury in a trial for a man accused of raping three women in Cleveland between May 1, 2021 and March 31, 2023, is now deliberating his fate.
The trial for Michael Mann, 53, began Sept. 8 in front of Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Judge David Matia.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley said Mann would message women through on-line ads and offer them $2,000 or more to work as a server at a private event or high-stakes poker game at a hotel in Cleveland.
“Michael Mann is a disgusting individual who preyed on innocent women who were responding to employment opportunities,” said O’Malley.
Mann would sometimes use the aliases of Rick, Rico, Ricardo, and R, added O’Malley.
Once the women arrived at the hotel, Mann would allegedly demand a sum of cash
