A Rockingham County woman has been charged with communicating threats on educational property after she said in a live stream Thursday that "children needed to be gutted like fish," the Rockingham County Sherriff's Office said.

The incident happened at McMichael High School in Mayodan.

Heather Brooke Clarke, 37, is charged with one count of felony communicating threats of mass violence on education property.

According to an arrest warrant, Clarke, who is homeless, said "the children need to be gutted like fish in the street" while on McMichael High School property.

She also said "I will gut your (expletive) children like fish in the street" and "your children need to be (expletive) beheaded," according to the warrant.
