AUSTINTOWN A former gas station in Austintown will soon be demolished, and a new gas station is expected to go in its place.

The former McQuaid's Gas Station, located at 702 North Meridian Road was purchased by Fifty Fifty Gifty LLC in October of 2024, according to the Mahoning County Auditor's website.

Austintown Zoning Inspector Darren Crivelli tells 21 News the property owner had called him and mentioned plans to demolish the McQuaid's gas station and potentially build a new gas station in its place.

However, Crivelli says no plans for the new gas station have been submitted to his office yet.
