CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- A man who stopped to help a drunk driver whose car had run out of gas was not repaid with kindness.

At 12:55 a.m. Sept. 5, an officer on patrol came across a Jaguar vehicle stopped in the intersection of Lee Road and Washington Boulevard. The car’s hazard lights were blinking.

The officer saw a man, 43, standing on a nearby sidewalk, and a Hyundai stopped behind the Jaguar. In the Jaguar was a Cleveland man, 48.

As police spoke with the man on the sidewalk, the man got out of the Jaguar and stumbled towards the Hyundai. The man on the sidewalk then yelled at the other man, “Hey! Don’t get in my car!”
