HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM)-- A major roadway in Hershey is closed after a crash caused a hazmat situation.
West Chocolate Avenue westbound is closed from Park Avenue to Ridge Road after the crash, according to Derry Township Police.
Police say the crash caused a tank containing liquid fertilizer to rupture, making the westbound lanes hazardous to traffic.
Eastbound lanes on the roadway remain open to traffic.
