LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A day after Michigan Lieutenant Garlin Gilchrist II says his home was targeted by a “credible bomb threat,” Democratic Michigan State Senator Jermey Moss says his home was also targeted by a bomb threat

“Yesterday, I received a detailed and specific message threatening me at my home with a bomb,” Moss said in a statement. “Local and state police arrived swiftly, along with a bomb-sniffing dog, to ensure there was no immediate danger. I am thankful for our law enforcement.”

The threat is just the most recent incident since a rise in threats that has been reported since the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. On Thursday, Multiple historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) across the U.S. were on lockdown after receiving threats.
