YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WOIO) - Ursuline High School has officially canceled their football season after two lawsuits were filed against the high school for hazing.

Ursuline High School said the season could not continue due to the lawsuits.

“Thank you for your understanding and your continued support during these difficult times,” the high school said in a letter to Ursuline High School parents.

A second lawsuit was filed on Wednesday against Ursuline High School, alleging sexual harassment, stalking and violent assault by a football player.

This comes days after several Ursuline High School coaches were placed on leave or suspended and after a former football player and his family filed a hazing lawsuit against the school last week.
