EVERETT — Everett police are investigating a stabbing that left one man wounded Thursday evening in Everett.
Around 5:49 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to reports of a stabbing at Wiggums Hollow Park. When they arrived, they found a man in his 30s who had been stabbed, according to an Everett Police Department social media post .
The male suspect’s juvenile girlfriend provided officers with a video of the alleged assault, court documents said. In the video, a 19-year-old man can be seen on top of the victim before running away moments later. Officers found the suspect’s 2.5- to 3-inch folding knife in the grass nearby.
A witness told officers she saw a man bragging about stabbing someone and repeating multiple times “that he stabbed him,” court documents said.
