STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.— Riley Knoop delivered a clutch performance to lift Tottenville to a 3-2 non-league victory over Hill at the victor’s home courts on Friday. Knoop overcame a 5-4 deficit in the deciding match, winning the final four games to seal the win.

The most tightly contested match of the day came at second doubles, where Hill’s Mary Scarangello and Sara Demiri rallied from a 3-6 deficit to force a tiebreaker, ultimately taking it 7-3 over Amy Dong and Sofia Suternfeld.

Earlier in the week, Hill fell 4-1 to perennial powerhouse Xaverian, but top player Emily Agushi turned heads with her improved play.
