The ball seemed to sit in the end zone forever, but Kaleb Johnson acted quickly postgame.
Still in his pads and uniform, the Steelers’ third-round rookie ripped the proverbial Band-Aid off as fast as he could. He knew he’d have to answer for his gaffe that gifted the Seahawks a touchdown and shifted the momentum Sunday at Acrisure Stadium and he wasted no time in doing so.
“I just gotta get better every day, that’s all I have to say about this,” Johnson said. “I guess I’ll meet with the team. I just have to go in there every day now and work my hardest now even more, with a chip on my shoulder.”
