The Buffalo Bills ' defense is coming off one of its best road performances in decades despite being down two starters.

Now they return back home to face a Miami Dolphins team that has lost the starting right side of their offensive line, which is quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's blindside — to injured reserve.

The first-place Bills (2-0) host the last-place Dolphins (0-2) on a short week at 8:20 p.m. on Thursday Night Football.

NFL teams have to submit a report on practice participation on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for a Thursday game. There are three levels of practice participation that can be designated: did not participate, limited participation and full participation.

A game status report is due by 4 p.m. Wednesday for Thursday games.
