Two teens have been taken to hospital as police investigate two ‘linked’ incidents. Cleveland Police officers are at the scene on Surrey Terrace, Billingham , investigating two incidents which are believed to be linked.

Shortly before 7.45am on Monday, September 15 a member of the public contacted the force to report two teenagers were on Surrey Terrace and they had apparently been assaulted. Both males, 18, were taken to hospital for treatment - one for serious injuries to his leg, face and head and the other for lacerations to his body.

Three people – two men, aged 42 and 46, and a 24-year-old woman - have been arrested in connection with the incident and will be questioned, police say. A house in the same street also sustained criminal damage the evening before.
