A woman is due in court accused of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. Charlotte Ann Mccall is set to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
It is alleged that the Brambles Farm woman “caused unnecessary suffering to a protected animal, namely a brindle and white XL Bully type dog known as Blue”. Court documents add that the 26-year-old allegedly failed to “provide adequate nutrition for the animal's needs and failed to investigate and address the cause of the animal's poor bodily condition and weight loss”.
It is alleged that the Animal Welfare Act crime was committed between January 21 and February 25 in Middlesbrough . Mccall, of Ferndale Avenue, Middlesbrough, will appear at the Middlesbrough court on Tuesday to face the charges brought by the RSPC
