DETROIT -- When speaking to reporters on Sunday, Jameson Williams made it clear the game plan was to “play big Detroit Lions football” and pick up a Week 2 win over the Chicago Bears.
The speedy receiver played a significant role in Detroit’s 52-21 victory. Williams only caught two of his four targets, but both were impact plays. The first came on a play-action pass from Jared Goff early in the third quarter, which Williams extended into a 64-yard gain deep into Bears territory. Afterward, he admitted he was frustrated for not finishing it in the end zone.
