The first installment of executive incentive pay in three years boosted the total compensation of Unifi Inc. chief executive Edmund Ingle by 77.8% to $2.22 million for fiscal 2025.

As of June 29, the yarn manufacturer had about 100 employees at its Greensboro headquarters, along with 980 at its Yadkinville campus and 300 in Rockingham County. Unifi eliminated up to 250 manufacturing jobs in Rockingham as part of closing and selling its 947,000-square-foot plant in Madison.
Ingle's base salary remained unchanged at $775,000 for the second consecutive year. He received $581,250 in incentive pay and stock awards valued at $775,283 on the date they were awarded.
