YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- New details of a deadly crash last month on I-83 in Newberry Township were released Monday by Pennsylvania State Police.
According to the crash report from State Police at York, Troopers were dispatched around 2:18 a.m. for a southbound crash by the weigh station at mile marker 34.2 on Aug. 22. Dispatch did relay to Troopers that there was an automatic crash notification, but no other details.
Terrell Harris, 36, of York, and a 25-year-old man from Charlotte, who was the passenger, were both thrown from a 2008 Hyundai Tiburon after the vehicle rolled over, Troopers said.
