Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse head coach Fran Brown provided optimistic updates about the health of two Syracuse starters during his weekly press conference on Monday, although he stopped short of guaranteeing that running back Yasin Willis and left tackle Trevion Mack will play against Clemson.
Willis is SU’s starting running back and a player who Brown labeled as the team’s best offensive player after the Orange’s opener against Tennessee. Mack is the Orange’s starting left tackle and was the team’s highest-graded offensive lineman by Pro Football Focus during its opener against the Volunteers.
