SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — FBI Director, Kash Patel, shared on 'Fox & Friends' on Monday morning that Tyler Robinson's DNA has been found on two pieces of evidence.

Patel told the 'Fox & Friends' team that Robinson's DNA was found on a towel that was wrapped around the firearm, as well as on a screwdriver that was found on the rooftop.

"I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm, and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody," Patel said in the interview.

However, Patel said that the firearm is still being processed at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) laboratories in Maryland.
