The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) announced that New Jersey-bound traffic will be detoured during weekday hours for up to two weeks.

Commuters traveling from Pennsylvania to New Jersey via the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge were scheduled to see changes to traffic beginning Monday, from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on weekdays only, through Sept. 26.

The commission is advising commuters to plan for the temporary detour and allow extra time for their Monday morning commute.

Two-way traffic had resumed on the bridge as of 2 p.m. on Monday, said Joe Donnelly, deputy executive director, DRJTBC.
