Jayden Daniels didn’t escape Green Bay unscathed.

The Commanders quarterback suffered a knee sprain against the Packers, according to multiple reports on Monday, putting his status for a Week 3 matchup with the Raiders in question.

Daniels certainly took a beating in the 27-18 loss at Lambeau Field on Thursday night, getting hit 12 times and sacked four, while being held to just 17 rushing yards.

While the injury is not expected to be a long-term issue, it does potentially put Washington’s short-term future in the hands of backup QB Marcus Mariota, who hasn’t made a start since 2022 with the Falcons.
