SUNFLOWER, AZ (AZFamily) — Injuries have been reported after two separate collisions along the same stretch of highway northeast of the Valley late Monday morning.

The crashes happened shortly before 12 p.m. in the southbound lanes of State Route 87 near milepost 215 , south of Sunflower. The Arizona Department of Public Safety reports that one crash involved a pickup truck, and at least one person was critically injured.

According to DPS, the second crash involved a FedEx truck and another vehicle. Serious injuries were also reported, but it’s unclear how many people have been hurt across both collisions.

Southbound traffic is delayed in the area.
