New Jersey high school football enjoyed a sensational opening weekend.

Over the past few days, there were plenty of terrific performances in what was Week 2 of the regular season. Quarterbacks threw the ball all over the field, running backs generated points through potent ground attacks and receivers made a host of big catches. On defense, players got to the quarterback and made that huge sack or stopped a running back with a clutch tackle.
