There was a brief moment of considerable anxiety this afternoon after a Mennonite in the local liquor store happened to spot another Mennonite in the liquor store.

“I was minding my own business on the way to pick up a nice bottle of Chianti, when I turned the aisle and there was Mr. Unger checking out the Blumstein beer,” said Mr. Fehr. “Of course I immediately averted by gaze and pulled my hat down over my eyes so he wouldn’t recognize me.”

Moments later, however, it dawned on Fehr that if he was in the liquor store then so was Unger and that meant he had just as much reason to report Unger as Unger had to report Fehr.

“So, logically, as long as you’re careful not to park your car too close, there’s nothing to be worried about,” said Fehr. “Anyone who might spot you is
