ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A 16-year-old boy is facing murder charges in the fatal stabbing of another teen in Mableton, according to police.
Around 5:41 p.m. on Saturday, Cobb County police said they responded to a person injured at a home on Milam Creek Road.
They reportedly found a 17-year-old boy on the front porch with a stab wound to the left side of his torso.
He was taken by ambulance to an area hospital, where he died.
Police said they arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the stabbing. He’s facing charges of felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime. The suspect’s identity hasn’t been released.
On Monday, Mableton Mayor Michael Owens identified the victim as David Daniel, a student at Pebblebrook High School
