MCCAYSVILLE, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - By 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, hundreds of law enforcement officers from numerous counties, states, and alphabet organizations swarmed the tiny town of 1,100 people.
They swarmed North Georgia in search of Timothy Ramsey, the man suspected of shooting and severely injuring a McCaysville police officer, Capt. Brantley Worley.

Drones and helicopters swarmed the air. SWAT vehicles and ATVs moved through backroads and rough, wooded terrain.
The only thing they didn’t have was food, and that’s when residents of McCaysville and Fannin County stepped up.
