KENNER, La. —

A teacher in Jefferson Parish was surprised with tickets to a New Orleans Saints football game in celebration of her 50 years of teaching.

Cynthia Thompson, also known as Mama T, was surprised with tickets last week after stating she had never been to a Saints game. Advertisement

Thompson, who has taught at Bonnabel High School for decades, is described by her work family as always happy and eager to work.

The Saints organization saw the video of the surprise and said they will make sure Mama T has a great game day experience at the Saints and Falcons game in the Superdome on Nov. 23.
