FARGO — The Challey Institute at North Dakota State University has announced its lineup of fall 2025 events, which are free and open to the public.

The Sheila and Robert Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth will host two Menard Family Distinguished Speakers, as well as a Human Progress & Flourishing Workshop series, the institute said in a news release.

The first speaker is Daryl Davis, renowned rock and blues musician, conflict navigator, unifier and author.

His presentation, "From Discord to Harmony: Transforming Conflict into Collaboration — An Evening of Learning and Music," takes place from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at the Fargo Theatre. The event includes a music collaboration with the NDSU Jazz Combo from the Challey School of Music.
