HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn) pushed back against corporate monopolies in the United States on Monday at a summit.
Murphy was interviewed at the 2025 Anti-Monopoly Summit hosted by the American Economic Liberties Project to talk about his new report claiming corporations are trying to rip off Americans.
"There exists a possibility to bring together people who right now are in these traditional left and right ecosystems around an agenda that is about breaking up concentrated power and particularly concentrated corporate power and delivering real economic power and agency -- even spiritual power -- back to Americans who feel that they have lost it," Murphy said.
The senator says bringing people together on common ground issues can resolve what he has seen as pol
