Lincoln Township Clerk selected to serve as interim manager

Lincoln Township Clerk Michael Brown will serve as the interim township manager when current manager Ralph Bansen steps down next month.

The Lincoln Township Board of Trustees met Friday and selected Brown to take the position while they look for Bansen’s permanent replacement.

Brown tells us the township has a good team in place, and he’s looking forward to continuing its momentum. He says the budget will be among the priorities as he moves into the temporary role, adding he wants to keep things moving in the right direction.

The township board has also selected Supervisor Glenn Youngstedt to lead the manager search committee. Brown says Youngstedt will have to name its members, which should happen soon.
