Who will oversee police reforms in Louisville?
About 60 community members gathered on September 15 at the Republic Bank Foundation YMCA gymnasium in Louisville’s California neighborhood to hear from the two organizations vying to serve as the independent monitor for reforms at the Louisville Metro Police Department.
The candidates, 21st Century Policing Solutions (21CP) and Effective Law Enforcement for All (ELEFA), each emphasized their commitment to transparency, community engagement and meaningful reform during the 90-minute forum.
