Belleville residents will be updated on the city’s Community Improvement Plan’s attempts to bolster a number of elements in the municipality.

The update will come in the form of what’s called a public consultation centre at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre on Sept. 23 to gather feedback on draft CIP programs including housing, Downtown revitalization and brownfield redevelopment.

The event will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Fireplace Room on the first floor.

“The CIP update revisits priorities and financial incentives that will help reach several community

improvement objectives, including facilitating city-wide development of housing, including

affordable and missing middle housing,” the city said in an advisory on Tuesday.
