We are learning more about the man who allegedly phoned a Maricopa mosque and threatened violence while unleashing a stream of racist and anti-Muslim slurs. That man was arrested and booked into the Pinal County jail after a three-week investigation, according to police reports.

In response to a Freedom of Information Request, Maricopa Police Department released reports and 13 minutes of those threats to InMaricopa yesterday .

Staffers at the Masjid Bilal Rabah Mosque on Cesar Chavez Lane recorded 13 minutes of the call that came in just before 8:30 a.m. Aug. 3. It came in as the mosque hosted Sunday school for children, a report by Officer C. Benoit states.
