LUBBOCK, TEXAS -- The Texas Tech Museum invites everyone of all ages to their annual Dino Day event on September 20th starting at 11:00 a.m. from 4:00 p.m. This free event allows guests to explore the museum’s vast collection of extinct animals. There will be an opportunity to meet Jeffrey Martz, curator of paleontology and other expert paleontologist and biology teams. Attendees can also enjoy the following: • View fossils up close • Dig for dinosaur bones at the sand table and play the triceratoss game • Listen to Texas fossils presentation from 1:00pm to 3:00pm • Explore the cosmos with free planetarium shows every 30 minutes • Speak with the museums paleologist on site
