LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech announced the 1993 Lady Raider basketball team that captured the national championship will be inducted into the Texas Tech Basketball Ring of Honor.

The team defeated Ohio State 84-82 in the championship game to bring the title to Lubbock, which was the first-ever for any sport in Texas Tech history. Their accomplishments helped bring attention to not only the Lady Raider program but to Texas Tech as a whole, with the university honoring their impact for all future generations to see.
