LUBBOCK, Texas-- Week four of high school football kicks off this week, featuring some highly anticipated matchups in the South Plains area.

Here are a few matchups to watch closely:

Friday night:

A showdown between 3-0 teams begins as the Slaton Tigers travel to face the Post Antelopes. Their season matchup ended with a 27-20 win for the Antelopes.

Lubbock-Cooper will head to Tiger Stadium at 7 p.m. to face Frenship in a highly anticipated matchup. Lubbock-Cooper is currently 2-1, coming off a 20-14 win against Tascosa. The last matchup between these two teams ended in the Tigers coming out victorious with a 51-42 victory over the Pirates.
