MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis Light, Gas and Water's (MLGW) Whitehaven community office will temporarily close for remodeling, officials said.

The last day of business for the location at 1111 East Shelby Drive will be Friday, Sept. 26.

Renovations will start Monday, Sept. 29, and the office is expected to reopen in late January 2026, officials said.

MLGW said customers can make appointments with a credit counselor here and schedule visits at one of the following offices:

Downtown Community Office located at 245 South Main Street

Millington Community Office located at 5131 Navy Road

South Community Office located at 2935 Lamar Avenue
