ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - LSU of Alexandria is moving forward with plans to expand student housing as enrollment continues to climb. On September 16, university leaders broke ground on the Campus Edge project, which will include the new apartments.
LSUA Chancellor Dr. Paul Coreil said the development has been in the works for some time and will play a key role in supporting the campus’s growth.
“We knew that growth would only happen if we had spaces for students to get rooms to reside on campus,” he said. “Students like that campus experience. They want to live here. They want to be part of the campus family.”
