CLEVELAND, Ohio - Comedian and actor Kevin James will bring his “Eat The Frog” stand-up tour to the Akron Civic Theatre on Friday, March 6, 2026. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at akroncivic.com , kevinjames.com and ticketmaster.com .

James is best known as the titular star of “The King of Queens,” the popular sitcom that ran from 1998 to 2007, earning him an Emmy nomination.

He’s also had a been an unlikely movie star, co-writing and starring in “Paul Blart: Mall Cop,” which made nearly $200 million, and its inevitable sequel “Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2.″ James has also been seen in “Hitch” with Will Smith.

More recently, the comedic actor, who got his start in comedy clubs in Long Island, released a one-hour comedy special, “Kevin James: Irregardless,”
