Excitement is building for a youth theatre camp set to kick off on Oct. 18 at the Rimbey Community Library.

There are going to be 17 sessions, from Saturday, Oct. 18 to Feb. 21. It will be from 1 to 4 p.m. on those Saturdays and the final performance will be on Feb. 21.

"For me, designing a theatre camp for children is really about opening a door into play, imagination, and the joy of collective storytelling," said Emily Promise Allison, who will be heading up the project.

"I want them to leave with a sense that art and theatre are not just about performance, but also a way of thinking, communicating, and discovering themselves," she said.
