Milt Stegall may be calling for Zach Collaros to stop playing, but the Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback appears to have other plans.
Collaros was in full gear as the Bombers returned to practice on Tuesday, apparently intent on returning to the lineup as soon as possible.
Whether or not that’ll be this Saturday in Ottawa remains to be seen – still recovering from his latest head injury, Collaros was mostly on the sidelines watching Chris Streveler run the offence in practice.
The 37-year-old’s early exit from the Banjo Bowl on Sept. 6 cost him last week’s game in Hamilton.
Stegall, the TSN panelist and former Bomber great, said Collaros should pack it in or risk paying a much greater price later in life.
