SARPY COUNTY, Neb. —
A Sarpy County food pantry celebrated its new home with a ribbon cutting.
Neighborgood used to be known as the Tri-City Food Pantry.
The new facility is near 66th Street and Cornhusker Road in Papillion.
It will allow them to help more people.
The nonprofit said 5.5% of Sarpy County residents live below the poverty level and nearly 11% are food insecure.
"It's really important to see that the community is here to rally around our neighbors. Food insecurity can often be unseen," said Melissa Nelson.
Neighborgood is actively looking for more volunteers and donations.
