Loop 101 drivers will have more cranes and construction work to watch as they negotiate stop-and-go traffic.

“The Loop” is poised to follow all the North Scottsdale off-the-freeway projects under way: Optima McDowell Mountain Village apartments; a new ASM headquarters and research facility; a Banner Health medical facility; various One Scottsdale and Cavasson projects as well as the giant of the bunch; Mack Innovation Park.

Though not related in ownership to the monstrous Mack Innovation Park, “The Loop” – also known as “Mini Mack” – seems to be matching the moves of the massive development across the Loop 101.

The Loop is on 85th Street near Princess Road and the Loop 101 – from which it borrows the curve as well as the name.
