CLEVELAND, Miss. - A Delta State University student, who officers found deceased and hanging from a tree on campus, had no injuries "consistent with an assault," according to Bolivar County Coroner Randolph Seals Jr.

Authorities discovered 21-year-old Demartravion "Trey" Reed of Grenada, Mississippi, Monday morning at the campus in Cleveland, Mississippi. The incident led to the cancellation of classes Monday.

Delta State's University Police Chief Mike Peeler said that law enforcement does not suspect foul play in Reed's death. Seals said preliminary evidence supports that conclusion.
