MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The city of Memphis looks to further its revamp of the riverfront and heard from the public during a community meeting on Thursday night at Beale Street Landing.
The public was allowed to share their ideas about a master plan.
City leaders say they are working to connect 30 points of interest along a six mile stretch of the Mississippi River.
The goal is to make sure Riverside Drive is accessible, financially and physically, for both residents and tourists.
Memphis' Chief Operator Officer Tony Adams says currently they are focusing on input from residents living near Riverside Drive and says public input is already making a difference.
