The chair of the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority is stepping down in October, according to the governor.
Gov. Ned Lamont said he’s received a letter from Marissa Paslick Gillett informing him that she will be resigning from her position effective Oct. 10.

“After deep reflection, I write to tender my resignation as Chair of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority, effective October 10, 2025. Serving the people of Connecticut in this role has been the honor of my professional life,” Gillett wrote in her letter.
She has served on PURA since 2019.
