HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Governor Ned Lamont Friday announced he's received a letter of resignation from Marissa Paslick Gillett, who will be stepping away from her role as chairman of the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA).
Her resignation will be effective Oct. 10.
“Marissa is one of the most experienced and qualified public utility regulators in the country,” Lamont said in a statement. "... On behalf of our state, I am appreciative of her public service and dedication to our state and its ratepayers.”
Gillet has led the utility regulator since 2019.
