BOSTON —
British singer-songwriter Morrissey's Saturday night show in Boston has been canceled after "a credible threat" on his life.
The singer was set to play at MGM Music Hall at Fenway on Saturday night.
"In recent days, there has been a credible threat on Morrissey's life. Out of an abundance of caution for the safety of both the artist and band, tomorrow's engagement at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway has been cancelled," the venue posted.
Morrissey's Friday night show at Foxwoods has also been canceled.
"All tickets will be refunded automatically at your original point of purchase," according to Morrissey's official social media pages . "We appreciate your understanding."
