Detectives Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspects and Vehicles in Deadly Shooting

The Los Angeles Police Department is seeking the public’s help in solving the 2020 shooting death of a man in South Los Angeles and is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Detectives with the LAPD’s South Bureau Homicide Division said the killing occurred on July 28, 2020, around 2:40 p.m., in the 1300 block of West 69th Street.

The victim, identified as Dominic Ladon Gooden, was standing near the location when multiple suspects pulled up in two vehicles, got out, and opened fire, striking Gooden. He collapsed at the scene and later died from his injuries, according to police.
